As of May 8, 2025 Project has not been awarded No anticipated date for the award The Town of Wausau will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing construction services for the following project: JEFFERSON STREET M-SCOP Jefferson Street, in Wausau, FL, is a 2-lane rural roadway in the center of town running from 6 th Avenue to Panama Ave. This project will consist of resurfacing of the roadway, construct new drainage structures, stop bars, grassed shoulders, thermoplastic striping, retroflected stop signs and base reconstruction with full depth reclamation in one portion of the roadway. All work is to be completed within the existing right-of-way. Total length of the project is 0.647 miles Liquidated damages for failure to complete project on the specified date will be set at $1,000.00 per day. The Town of Wausau reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in their best interest. All Bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening.
