As of June 27, 2025 Project has not been awarded, No definite date for award The Town of Wausau will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing construction services for the replacement of the storm water drainage culvert system and restoration of the damaged and undermined pavement and road base on 2nd Avenue providing safe access and passage for residents. This project is funded with Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and through the Florida Department of Commerce (formerly DEO) and awarded to the Town of Wausau under CDBG-DR agreement M0109 for recovery from Hurricane Michael and to repair and harden 2nd Avenue and drainage and to mitigate the infrastructure against the impacts of future storms.
