Site work and paving for a road / highway in Chipley, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project will include the paving of various streets within the Sunny Hills community. For questions, please contact Jonathan Sims at (850) 354-5188 or jsims@dewberry.com. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. Completion date for this project will be 90 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $1,000.00 per day. Please indicate on the envelope that this is a sealed bid for the 2025 SUNNY HILLS PAVING IMPROVEMENTS. The Bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. No proposal will be accepted after the established deadline. The County will not be responsible for any delays related to the electronic submission of proposals. The Washington County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of Washington County. RESPONSIBLE VENDOR DETERMINATION Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the County may not request documentation of or consider a vendor's social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.
