Site work and paving for a civil project in Chipley, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and bridge / tunnel.
This project primarily consists of drainage improvements on Griffin Road within the City of Chipley consisting of the construction of a new double 10x7 concrete box culvert along with approximately 550 linear feet of new lateral ditch excavation to relieve flooding in the area. Roadway excavation and reconstruction will be required in vicinity of the new box culvert along with guardrail placement, riprap rubble, sodding and thermoplastic pavement markings. Utility relocation is also included consisting of approximately 100 feet of 8 water main installed by directional bore The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable according to the Department of Treasury Circular 570. The City requires a business license be paid for the privilege of engaging in any business within the City limits. Please contact the Finance office for a fee schedule. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATE: $930k
