Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kenmore, Washington. Design plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.
This project will replace the non-ADA sidewalk panels on the west side of 61st Avenue NE between NE 193rdSt and 60th Ave NE and relocate the sidewalk on the east side of 61st Ave NE between NE 181st St and NE 190thSt away from Cha Thl Creek (Tributary 0056). In addition to replacing sidewalk panels, the following will also be included in the project: A 2-inch grind and HMA overlay south of NE 190th St Center two-way left turn lane will be removed Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) at 61st Ave NE and 58th Ave NE Intersection. Stream corridor improvements (increased stream buffer, removal of invasive species, buffer plantings) As of March 7, 2025, this project is included in the city's 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). It is currently in the design phase and construction will begin in the late spring. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
