Park Maintenance Facility precast concrete wall consists of: Installation of a new 6' high and 3' high precast concrete wall around the exterior of our park maintenance facility. Additive alternative 1: Tinted Concrete Sealer Additive alternative 2: Anti-Graffiti Coating. No pre-bid conference will be held. Email questions to smarshall@syracuseut.gov. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, a bid security subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty-five (35) days after the date of the opening thereof. Installation of a new 6' high and 3' high precast concrete wall according to the plans generally labeled "Syracuse City Parks Maintenance Facility Precast Concrete Wall". This includes all materials, equipment, and labor to perform the installation ofthe new 6' high and 3' high precast concrete wall. The successful bidder will be required to submit shop drawings and a footing design to the City stamped by a licensed structural engineer (*see note below) in the state ofUtah for a building permit (at no charge to the Contractor). All work must be done in compliance with current building codes and will be inspected by the Syracuse City Building Official at no cost to the contractor. Syracuse City will stake the project. Groundwater should be anticipated around 2-3 feet deep from the surrounding property elevations. The precast concrete wall shall meet or exceed the specification 02861. Tinted concrete sealer and the antigraffiti wall coating are additive bid items and may not be awarded. If awarded, the concrete shall be coated per specification 09981 and an anti-graffiti coating shall be applied per specification 09982. *The footings forthe posts shall be set on native material. Ifthe footing depth recommendation from structural engineer is less than 8' deep, the foundations shown on the drawings to be 8' deep shall be extended to the 8' depth to get into native soil. Ifthe footing depth recommendation from structural engineer is greater than 8' deep, the foundations shall be installed perthe structural engineer's recommendation. The surface texture architectural treatments for the wall panels shall generally meet the existing precast wall and post pattern. Additional questions may be taken until Thursday March 6, 2025 at 12:00 PM. If addendums are necessary, they will be posted to our bid website by Friday March 7, 2025 to all plan holders on the list. - Questions may be directed to: smarshall@syracuseut.gov
