Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Syracuse, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Syracuse City invites vendors to submit a bid to provide and install two roof hatches that are weather tight and fully automated to open and close using control buttons while standing at ground level. The roof hatches shall be equipped as indicated herein. All equipment and materials shall be delivered, installed, and ready for operation. All equipment necessary for safety and installation shall be included in the cost of the bid. There are four existing skylights. Two of the four skylights shall be removed and replaced with automated roof hatches. Power to the control boxes and the control wire to the button stations will be performed by a separate electrical contractor hired by the city. Any inspections or permits that may be required will be at no cost to the contractor. The scope of this work shall consider the following items. If any of the listed items cannot be met, please indicate. Explanations with additions or deductions to the list will be considered. o New (no previous ownership) o Approximate dimensions are 50" x 73" but must be field verified. o Hinged on the long side of each hatch o Weatherproof seal to prevent outdoor moisture from entering the building. o Corrosion resistant materials. o Durable material to withstand heavy snow and wind loads of 30 psf or greater. o Control buttons installed inside the pumphouse on the wall approximately 48" above the floor at a safe and accessible location. Coordinate the most suitable location with the city. o Fully assembled, shipping, delivery, and installation to 3176 South Bluff Road Syracuse, Utah 84075 o Documentation, manuals, and warranty o Initial set up and orientation. o Remove and dispose of existing skylights that will be replaced with roof hatches.
