A timeline for award has not yet been established.** This proposal includes electrical contractor services to install street lights and perform other municipal electrical work for Syracuse City on an as-needed basis over a twenty-four month period having four potential twenty-four month renewal options to extend provided the city and the contractor mutually agree to exercise the renewals. Street light installations will include new installations of contractor provided street lights for subdivision developments and existing deficient areas as well as replacements of those that become damaged. Although basic maintenance of existing street lights is not a primary part of this scope, there may be occasions when the city may require that expertise. Syracuse City standards for street lights are included as an attachment with the following considerations: State Roads 193, 108, 127, and 110: Cobra Head (400 Watt) LED Main Streets and Collectors: Cobra Head (100 Watt to 200 Watt) LED Local Residential Streets: Holophane Taft head with 12' black powder-coated Salem Aluminum Pole (direct bury base) 4" diameter fluted; 9" square base; 3x3 tenon (55 Watt) LED Six-way Roundabout: Globe Head (40 Watt to 55 Watt) LED All other roundabouts: Holophane Esplanade Style Luminaire teardrop head Type IV glass door; shallow skirt with black 21' fluted, tapered, 20" round, 3x9 tenon; West Liberty cross-arm 72" roadway one-way arm, cast aluminum, black; arm fitter is slip fit 2" nominal pipe, swivel, cast aluminum, black; North Yorkshire Cast Iron and Steel Pole with weatherproof receptacle (100 Watt) LED. The award of this bid is anticipated within 45 days after the bid date. It is the intent of the city to grant the award to the bidder having the best score based upon the evaluation criteria indicated in this RFP. Syracuse City reserves the right to reject any, portions of, or all bids and to accept any bid that best serves its needs and is in the best interest of the city. Syracuse City invites contractors to submit a bid for general electrical work to install street lights in various locations throughout the city and perform other municipal electrical work at city owned-facilities for the duration of a twenty-four month period with options to extend up to a maximum of ten years.
