Renovation of a municipal facility in Bedford, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit bids to provide and install audio equipment in first floor courtrooms for a functioning, Americans with Disabilities (ADA) compliant, audio system which will need to be scheduled around court dates and times. Questions or comments related to this solicitation shall be directed to the Procurement Manager not later than 3:00 PM, local time, on March 13, 2025. All questions shall be submitted in writing (email is preferred). Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Heather Knight, VCO, VCA (Finance Department) hknight@bedfordcountyva.gov The contract will be awarded or the bids rejected as soon as reasonably possible, but not later than ninety (90) days after the date of opening bids, unless the period for acceptance is otherwise extended at request Of owner and agreed to in writing by the bidder, or bidders. A single award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and shall be based on the Bid summation of total base bid price.
