The City of Ottawa, Transportation Services (the City) has an immediate requirement for the Disposal of Scrap Metal on an as and when requested basis from various OC Transpo locations, in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions of this Request for Quotation (RFQ). At a minimum, Bidders shall ensure their bid includes the following documents: a) One (1) completed and signed copy of the City's Contractual Acknowledgment, found under Appendix A; b) One (1) completed copy of Price Schedule A, found under Appendix B; c) One (1) copy of a valid Municipal Salvage Yard Business Licence (Or Equivalent); and d) One (1) letter of reference from a recognized Canadian Financial Institution supporting their financial capability to undertake this Contract. The period of contract shall be from date of award until 28 February 2026 with four (4) optional one (1) year extension periods Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
