Renovation of a day care center in Huntington, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a day care center.
Kiwanis Floor Replacement - On behalf of the Kiwanis Day Care Center, the City of Huntington West Virginia is soliciting bids from licensed contractors for installing a new floor at the center. The contract for this work will be between the Kiwanis Day Care Center and the chosen contractor. Q&A deadline 04/28/2025 02:00 PM EDT Inquiries in regards to BidExpress shall be emailed to Dan Underwood at Dunderwood@huntingtonwv.gov however all questions in regards to work to be performed and submittal requirements must be submitted through the Bid Express. 1. Prevailing wages required 2. Install LVP planks, to be glued down over existing floor 3. Scuff or prep existing floor 4. 4" baseboard 1600 linear feet (final measurements taken by contractor) 5. Transition strips to be installed in the doorways of rooms in which new flooring will not be installed. 6. The storage room, kitchen, and bathroom will not receive new flooring 7. 7000 sq. ft. approx. (final measurements taken by contractor) 8. Make appointment for measurements if not taken during site visit (contact information below) 9. Some work will have to be done after hours 10. Permits obtained by contractor 11. Price must include, all glue, supplies, and labor 12. Color & floor chosen at time of contract 13. Furniture moved by contractor
