Mechanical piping and fitting demolition at four reclaimed water metering sites, demolition of electrical equipment at various sites, demolition of a pump station building, installation of mechanical equipment and piping at four reclaimed water sites, installation of impressed current cathodic protection systems including anode wells and rectifiers, electrical equipment installation, cathodic protection installation, and miscellaneous site work to complete all work as detailed on the improvement plans. Project Duration 325 Calendar Days Q&A Deadline March 21, 2025 3:00 PM (PST) A certified check, cashier’s check, bid bond or cash, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany each Proposal, as a guarantee that if awarded the Contract, the Bidder will execute the Contract, give the two (2) bonds required, and present evidence of the required liability insurance and being licensed under the provisions Chapter 4.04 of the Reno Municipal Code. Said check shall be made payable to the City of Reno, and said bond shall be executed by an approved surety, if used. The provision of any such bond, check, or cash is conditioned to the effect that should the Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded fail to enter into the Contract in accordance with the Proposal, give the two (2) bonds required by said Contract, present sufficient evidence of required liability insurance and being licensed under the provisions of Chapter 4.04 of the Reno Municipal Code within ten (10) calendar days after notice of such award, the surety company shall forthwith pay the City of Reno the sum set forth in the bid bond, and the City shall be entitled to deposit the cash or check as liquidated damages. Bidders shall hold a valid State of Nevada Contractor’s License of a class corresponding to the work to be performed at the time the Proposal is submitted to the City of Reno. Failure to possess the appropriate Contractor’s License at the time the Proposal is submitted will result in the Proposal being rejected.
