Roth Environmental Consultants, Inc. (Owners Representative) is pleased to announce that the Maryville R-II School District (Owner) is requesting bids in conjunction with asbestos abatement at two (2) schools located within the District. The schools consist of Eugene Field Elementary School and Maryville High School. This project consists of floor tile (FT) removal in the High School and thermal insulation in the Eugene Field Elementary School. In some cases, there may be two layers of floor tile (FT). The locations and totals may be seen in the walk-thru. The two schools are; Eugene Field Elementary School is located at 418 E. 2nd Street, Maryville, Missouri 64468. Maryville High School is located at 1503 S. Munn, Maryville, Missouri 64468 ROTH will be the PM and hygienist for the project. Thermal Insulation is present above a plenum in the former kitchen and hallways. Total amounts of materials are identified, however, add-ons for additional abatement will be addressed through unit pricing, as applicable. Mapping is enclosed and bears the square footage of each school to be abated. Starting date is May 14, 2025 and runs through May 23, 2025 for Eugene Field Elementary. Start time for the High School may run concurrently, but is no later than May 23, 2025 and runs through June 6, 2025. Of note: If the contractor wishes to pursue the removal of ACM materials at both schools, this is acceptable to the owner, however, the completion date of June 6th must be adhered to in order to allow the owner to reinstall new flooring. General: this section includes all Work necessary to reduce airborne fiber concentrations of asbestos to the specified level and maintain the specified asbestos control limits during the life of this Contract. The term "Contractor" when used in this specification shall always refer to the Asbestos Abatement Contractor.
