Site work for a mixed-use development in Lexington, Kentucky. Working plans call for site work for a golf course; and swimming pool.
**As of May 19, 2025, the project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid.** Consisting of the construction and/or furnishing of items as listed in the Bid Schedule beginning on page P-6, Part III, Form of Proposal, of this document, for the Monument Signs at Tates Creek Golf Course and Aquatic Center Entrance, Lexington-Fayette County, Kentucky. Question Deadline 03/12/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Please submit all Questions via online. Bids will be received from Prime Contracting firms on a Lump Sum for total Project. Bidder must include a price for all bid items to be considered. Bids shall be submitted in the manner and subject to the conditions as set forth and described in the Information for Bidders and Special Conditions. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the closing date for receipt of bids. Errors and omissions will not be cause for withdrawal of bid without forfeit of bid bond. If the bid is $50,000 or greater, bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government in an amount not less than Five Percent (5%) of the base bid. Bid bond shall be executed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and countersigned by a licensed Kentucky Resident Agent, representing the Surety Company. Bid Bonds are not required for bids under $50,000. A cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit is an acceptable form of bid security. The bonds required for this project are bid bond and performance and payment bond The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government has set a goal that not less than ten percent (10%) of the total value of this Contract be subcontracted to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, which is made up of MBEs and WBEs, and set a goal that not less than three percent (3%) of the total value of this Contract be subcontracted to VeteranOwned Small Businesses. The goals for the utilization of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses as subcontractors are recommended goals. Contractor(s) who fail to meet such goals will be expected to provide written explanations to the Director of the Division of Procurement of efforts they have made to accomplish the recommended goal, and the extent to which they are successful in accomplishing the recommended goal will be a consideration in the procurement process. Depending on the funding source, other DBE goals may apply. The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government may be served. SCOPE OF WORK The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all the materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, tools, superintendence, labor, insurance, and other accessories and services necessary to complete the said project in accordance with the conditions and prices stated in the Proposal, the General Conditions, and the Special Conditions of the Contract, the Specifications and Contract Documents therefore as prepared for the Monument Signs at Tates Creek Golf Course and Aquatic Center Entrance project. Sign is to be cabinet style, but unlit. Expected minimum 4 width but left up to sign manufacturer to size appropriately to assure structural stability with anchors to monument base cap stone and column. Is it allowed to replace real brick with faux stone for the sign: No, only the brick specified must be used
