Renovation of an educational facility in Morris Plains, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bid for Renovation to the Cafeteria Serving Lines at Parsippany Hills High School. The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the renovation of the existing serving lines, finish upgrades, electrical upgrades to roll-up gate, as well as ceiling and lighting replacement at Parsippany Hills High School. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in one of the following categories, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-27.1, et.seq.: (C008) GENERAL CONSTRUCTION or (C009) GENERAL CONSTRUCTION/ALTERATIONS/ADDITIONS Bidders shall also either be prequalified for, or include documentation for prequalified subcontractors for, the following listed classifications: (C030) PLUMBING (C047) ELECTRICAL Bidders and subcontractors for each of the major branches of work specified in N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18 must be prequalified by the DPMC. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of (1) a bid bond or certified or cashier's check payable to Parsippany-Troy Hills Twp. Board of Education equal to 10% of the amount of the bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000.00 per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24, and (2) Certificate of Consent of Surety per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bids or all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22 and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions, that may be in the best interest of the Board. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date.
