The Borough is seeking the services of a licensed contractor to replace the tennis courts located at Community Park, 51 Jim Fear Drive, Morris Plains, New Jersey. The work to performed consists of the furnishing of all supplies, materials and labor for the replacement of the tennis courts located at Community Park in the Borough of Morris Plains. All bids must be submitted on the Contract Document forms furnished by the Borough and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked with the name and address of the Bidder and the Contract Title. Any bids submitted by mail shall be addressed to Ana M. Thomas, CFO/Borough Treasurer, Borough of Morris Plains, 531 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, New Jersey 07950. The time for the completion of the work under the Contract is within thirty (30) calendar days of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed to the success Bidder. Time is of the essence of the Contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable to the Owner, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder, the Bidder will enter into a contract with the Borough. Each bidder must complete and submit with their proposal all contract documents, including but not limited to, Ownership Disclosure Statement, Affirmative Action Assurance Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Subcontractor Identification if any, and the Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran contained in the Contract Documents. The Borough shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source. The Borough will award one Contract as set forth in the contract documents. The Borough reserves the right to reject all proposals or any proposal which may be informal or the acceptance of which for any other reasons would be detrimental to the best interests of the Borough, and to waive informalities.
