The work consists of providing monthly maintenance of sewer pumping stations in the Borough of Morris Plains located at American Road, Johnson Road, and Central Avenue. Bids must cover a two-year contract term beginning January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027, with the potential for up to two one-year contract extension periods for calendar years 2028 and 2029 at the option of the Borough. All proposals must comply with the requirements of the Contract Documents, Department of Labor Safety and Health regulations, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. Bidders must submit proposals on the provided forms, accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond of ten percent (not to exceed $20,000) of the Total Aggregate Bid for the Two Year Contract Term, as well as complete and submit the Ownership Disclosure Statement, Affirmative Action Assurance Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran, and NJ Business Registration Certificate. All bidders are required to comply with affirmative action regulations. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, and the Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive informalities. Awards for subsequent years are subject to appropriation and availability of funds.
