Renovation of a water / sewer project in Port Angeles, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of May 21, 2025 Project is not yet awarded. This project is to replace existing commercial hot water heater at Port Angeles Transfer Station. 1. The existing hot water heater located in the Transfer Station tip floor building is leaking and needs to be replaced. 2. The hot water heater supplies the emergency shower and eye wash station. 3. Contractor shall replace existing tank heater with an electric tankless heater that meets the following ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 standards for flow and pressure: A) Emergency shower requires a flow of 20 gal/min at 30 psi, must maintain a temperature of 60-100 degrees for 15 minutes. B) Eye wash station requires a flow of 4 gal/min. 4. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to accomplish the work detailed above. The Contractor shall ensure the emergency shower and eyewash stations are connected to new hot water heater and fully functional. 5. All water lines moved, replaced, or installed by Contractor shall be insulated. 6. All debris generated from project shall be disposed of by City Staff. Location: Port Angeles Transfer Station, 3501 W. 18th Street, Port Angeles, WA 98363. All work under this Contract is to be completed 15 working days from the Notice to Proceed. No work is to be performed prior to written Notice to Proceed by the City.
