The major items of work involved are as follows: Installation of approximately 500-feet of 8-inch water main on West Warner Avenue to Woods Drive by means of open cut with associated pavement repair and restoration. Replacement of approximately 1,600-feet of 8- inch water main on Harriet Street from 1st Avenue to Hawkins Street by means of open cut with associated pavement repair and restoration. id security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security in the form of a bid bond for a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid. Bids shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes plainly marked with the project name and the name of the bidder. Project categories: Other, Roads, Water & Sewer No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids. YCUA reserves and has the right, in YCUA's sole discretion: to reject or accept any bid/proposal, including without limitation, a non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, incomplete or conditional bid/proposal; to waive any failure to comply with or fully satisfy the requirements of bid specifications or the specifications of a request for proposal; to extend the time for filing a bid or proposal; to reject the bid/proposal of any bidder/proposer if YCUA believes it would not be in the best interest of the project or YCUA to make an award to that bidder/proposer; to reject the bid or proposal of any bidder/proposer whom YCUA finds, after reasonable inquiry, to be non-responsible; to waive all informalities not including price, time or changes in the work; or, to negotiate contract terms with the apparent successful bidder/proposer. Neither Owner (YCUA) nor Engineer (OHM Advisors) will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than those listed herein.
