Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project shall consist of the Contractor furnishing all ofthe tools, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to excavate 1300 CY of material, 150 LF of rock excavation, remove500 LF of curb & gutter and 250 SY of concrete, 3 manholes, 11inlet boxes, 1 tree, and install 230 LF of 8" water main pipe, 30LF of 6" storm drain pipe, 950 LF of 12" storm drain pipe, 160LF of 24" perforated storm drain pipe, 8 manholes, 10 catchbasins, 500 LF of curb and gutter, 250 SY of concrete sidewalk,690 CY of 3" drain rock, 320 CY of uncrushed aggregate base,220 CY of crushed aggregate, 800 LF of type "P" surface restoration, 175 tons of asphalt, 932 SY of drainage geotextile, 1240SY of subgrade geotextile The Owner will also consider whether the bidder is aresponsible bidder.Before a contract will be awarded for work contemplatedherein, the Owner will conduct such investigation as is necessary to determine the performance record and ability of theapparent low Bidder to perform the size and type of work specified under this Contract. Upon request, the bidder shall submitsuch information as deemed necessary by the Owner to evaluate the Bidder's qualifications. All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence ofauthority to sign.Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form ofa bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash in theamount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Idaho Falls as liquidated damages should the successful bidderfail to enter into acontract in accordance with their proposal as specified in theInstructions to Bidders.The City of Idaho Falls reserves the right to reject any orall proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bidsreceived, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Idaho Falls.
