Site work for a water / sewer project in Elkin, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Contract A: Sewer Pipe Rehabilitation - includes the installation of cured-in-place pipe of approximately 8"-10,818 LF, 12"-2,693 LF, 15"-149 LF, 18"-1,024 LF, and 21"-612 LF of gravity lines; and Contract B: Various Sewer System Improvements - replacement of approximately 3,423 LF of 8" gravity sewer lines, 15 new manholes, 69 pipe repairs of varying lengths and types, 27 tap replacements, rehabilitation/repair of 70 manholes (including 185 VF of cementitious lining, new frame/covers, raise frame/covers, and various other items) Owner anticipates that the Projects Contract A total bid price will be approximately $874,000 and that Contract B total Bid Price will be approximately $3,104,691. Project has an expected duration of 300 days for both contracts The Yadkin Valley Sewer Authority encourages small, minority, female, and local contractors to bid on this project.
