Site work and paving for a civil project in Flagler Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

All work for the Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Contract Drawings and Specifications prepared by Engineer and the proposed improvements will be awarded and constructed, if award is made, under one Contract. Bids shall be submitted for furnishing, delivering and installing all materials, equipment and services, including labor, for the Work, which generally involves the construction of Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) Improvements at the Flagler Beach WWTF (2000 Avenue A, Flagler Beach, FL 32136). PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Project generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following: Influent Structure with a mechanical screening system; a new Master Lift Station; EQ basins and associated mixers; EQ basin pump station; BNR Treatment System consisting of primary anoxic, aerobic, deoxygenation, and secondary anoxic basins; a common reaeration basin; BNR equipment; blowers, air piping and diffusers; submersible mixers; flow metering systems; secondary clarifier flow splitter box; two new secondary clarifiers and associated equipment; RAS/WAS pumping station; chemical storage, feed and pumping systems; a tertiary filtration (disc filters) system; a multi-compartment chlorine contact chamber (CCC); modifications to the existing aerobic digestion system; dechlorination structure; Electrical Building No. 1; electrical, controls, instrumentation and SCADA system improvements; site work; yard piping; stormwater management system improvements; plant internal roadway improvements; miscellaneous appurtenances and ancillaries; and various other site improvements. The Work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, overhead, and labor for the construction of the facilities consisting of, but not limited to, the following: 1. Influent Structure including a mechanical screening system 2. A new Master Lift Station 3. EQ Basin, associated mixers, and EQ pumping station 4. BNR Treatment System consisting of primary anoxic, aerobic, deoxygenation, and secondary anoxic basins; a common reaeration basin; submersible mixers; IMLR pumps; handrails; kickplate; walkways and associated equipment 5. BNR blowers, air piping, and diffusers 6. Flow metering systems 7. Secondary clarifier flow splitter box 8. Two (2) secondary clarifiers and associated equipment. 9. RAS/WAS pumping system 10. Tertiary Filtration (disc filter) system 11. Multi-compartment chlorine contact chamber (CCC) 12. Chemical storage, feed and pumping systems 13. Modifications to the existing aerobic digestion system 14. Dechlorination structure and associated equipment 15. Electrical Building No. 1 and associated equipment, piping, and appurtenances 16. Electrical, controls, instrumentation and SCADA system improvements 17. Site work, yard piping and plant internal roadway improvements, signage, sodding, stormwater management system improvements, etc. B. All fees, permits and licenses for the permanent construction which are required by regulatory agencies or authorities, including fees for the review of Contract Documents prior to construction, shall be procured by the Contractor. C. The Contractor shall perform the work complete, in place, and ready for service, and shall include repairs, testing, clean-up, replacements and restoration required as a result of damages caused during this construction. D. The Contractor shall be required to obtain and pay for a building permit from the City of Flagler Beach Building Department for the improvements to be constructed as part of this Contract. E. The Contractor shall also be responsible for all fees associated with the City of Flagler Beach and any Duke Energy inspections and energizing of services and equipment. Sealed Bids must have the project title and bid number on outside of package.
