Furnishing of all necessary labor, supervision, material, equipment, insurances, etc. in order to perform the 2025 Gas Leak Detection Survey. Bids will not be accepted after this time. Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best responsible bid(s). In general, the 2025 Gas Leak Survey includes checking gas mains, gas services, risers or service entrances, regulators and meters up to the meter outlet connection for gas leaks. An estimated 400 gas services with outside gas meters to be inspected and an estimated 2,600 gas services with inside gas meters to be inspected. Please see specifications for further requirements of this contract. Please note that this contract has a Base Bid and two different Alternate Bids. Any questions must be received by the Owner through e-mail no later than 2:00 pm, local time, on Thursday, March 13, 2025 in order to provide an addendum to all plan holders. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the lowest and best responsible bidder(s). All contractors and/or subcontractors whose employees perform work on a City of Hamilton gas pipeline system must have on file or submit with the bid proposal a copy of the contractor's Operators Qualification Plan and a current P.H.M.S.A. Pipeline Drug & Alcohol Plan. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
