The project was awarded on April 17, 2025 to Foster Construction, LLC in the amount of $450,722.50. We do not have the start date at this time. Description: Installing 70' of riprap armoring, installation of 220' of articulated concrete matting, paving the existing road and parking surface, replacement of signage, removal of a fee station, installation of an orientation kiosk, removal of four sections of wood slat fencing, removal of 23' of dune fencing, and installation of painted traffic and parking markings. All work shall be completed in N/A Calendar Days, or by October 31, 2025 The Department will identify interim completion dates, if any, in the Special Provisions. The apparent successful bidder must furnish a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract as security conditioned for the full, complete and faithful performance of the contract. The apparent successful bidder must execute the said contract and bonds within fifteen calendar days, or such further time as may be allowed in writing by the Contracting Officer, after receiving notification of the acceptance of their bid. Engineer's Estimate Range: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
