As of March 13, 2025, this project is expected to begin in June of 2025 and complete at the end of July 2025. Questions Due Date: Mar 13th 2025, 5:00 PM PDT Online Portal Contact Information: Scott Riddle, sriddle@co.sutter.ca.us ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $300,000 TO $700,000 The project consists of grinding out existing STOP legends and limit lines as well as STOP AHEAD legends and replacing them with new reflective thermoplastic striping and markings. The locations are shown on the Sign Location Maps along with the Sign Location Lists for the project. The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and services necessary for the FY2024-25 County Striping Project. The project consists of grinding out existing STOP legends and limit lines as well as STOP AHEAD legends and replacing them with new reflective thermoplastic striping and markings. The locations are shown on the Sign Location Maps along with the Sign Location Lists for the project. Complete the work within 30 working days Liquidated Damages for this project are based on Section 8-1.10A of the Caltrans Standard Specifications dated 2024. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. The work shall be done in accordance with the Standard Plans 2022 and Standard Specifications 2022, of the California Department of Transportation and in accordance with the Special Provisions. No verbal, telegraphic, electronic mail, facsimile, or telephone Bids will be considered. Each Bid must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the Contract Documents. The bid must be submitted and received by the County Clerk of the Board not later than the time and date prescribed. Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the name of the project and the envelope should bear on the outside the name of the Bidder and his address. Each Bid must be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check, or cashier's check payable to the County of Sutter, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, in conformance with the requirements set forth in the contract documents, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Pursuant to California Contract Code Section 22300, the Contractor may, at its own expense, substitute securities for any money being withheld by the County to ensure performance under this contract. The proposed bond forms are included in the Bid Book. Attention is directed to Section 2-1.34 and 3-1.19. Bids are to be submitted for the entire work, materials and improvements. Bids must be on a unit price basis. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
