Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
1 The City of Ottawa requires a qualified contractor to undertake the following work at the site and as shown on the contract drawings: 1 Protection of existing vegetation to remain. 2 Removal of hard surfaces and site features. 3 Removal and pruning of trees and vegetation. 4 Regrading. 5 Supply and installation of new hard surfaces. 6 Supply and installation of softscape elements including topsoil, sod, mulch and trees. 1 Limit use of premises for Work and for storage where available. 2 Co-ordinate use of premises under direction of the Contract Administrator and City of Ottawa. .3 Obtain and pay for use of additional storage or work areas needed for operations under this Contract. 4 Remove or alter existing work to prevent injury or damage to portions of existing work which remain. .5 Repair or replace portions of existing work which have been altered during construction operations to match existing or adjoining work, as directed by Contract Administrator. 6 Ensure that operations conditions of exiting work at completion are still the same, equal to or better than that which existed before new work started. .7 Contractor has limited use of the site and all equipment and debris are to be removed from site at the end of every work day in all areas not included in this contract. .8 At all times, move stored products or equipment which interfere with operations of regular programs, other maintenance contractors or the public. 9 The facility will remain open to the public and residents during construction. The contractor is to maintain safe access to the facility and minimize impact to operations at all times. .10 Repair and replace all work which has been altered during this construction operation to match existing or adjoining work as directed by Contract Administrator. .11 Maintain all Life Safety Assemblies, security devices and controls for continued full unobstructed occupancy in all the occupied areas.
