Supply and installation of two new 400k BTU roof top gas fired makeup air units for the Hamilton/Wenham Recreational Department. Removal and dispose of old units. Miscellaneous electrical, piping, duct work for completion. Start up and testing. Contractors may submit questions for clarification up to 4:00pm Friday, March 21st, 2025 to allow the town to issue out an addenda if necessary Estimated Cost $125,000. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified will not be considered. The bidder agrees that its bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of bid. 2. Location and Scope of Work The Work consists of: 1. Disconnect all electrical, piping, sheet metal connections, and all other items for the removal of the existing units 2. Remove and dispose of units, exterior connections, exterior ducts, exterior wiring and piping 3. Supply and installation two new 400k BTU Reznor, or approved equal, gas-fired makeup air units on the existing structural steel and adapt to the existing roof curb as needed. 4. Provide all new electrical, piping, and duct connections and connect to existing electrical, piping, duct, etc. within the exterior of the roof top per building code. 5. Replace roofing connections for duct, wiring, piping, etc. 6. Remove old electrical disconnect switch and replace with new code compliant switch for each unit 7.
