Site work for a mixed-use development in Vernal, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a religious / funeral development; and water / sewer project.
It is the intent of Uintah County, Utah, ("County") to obtain cost proposals from qualified industry experts for the Rock Point Cemetery Expansion Project, including irrigation system upgrades, ground preparation, hydro-seeding, and tree planting. Main Water Line Extension: Install extension to existing water line to accommodate system upgrades. Lines will be painted on the ground where the installation of the water line will need to be. All necessary parts and supplies for the main water line will be provided by Uintah County. o Install six new zones to the existing sprinkler system for the planting of new grass, ensuring adequate coverage for the designated area. o Install underground hose taps to ensure convenient access to water throughout the landscaped area. o Install trust blocks at every Tee connection coming from the main water line to sprinkler valves. o 5-year warranty on installation. Irrigation line: Install 460 feet of irrigation line along the north side of the alfalfa field to support a wheel line system. All necessary parts and supplies for the irrigation line will be provided by Uintah County. o Excavate and cap the irrigation line risers along the North side of the cemetery Ground Preparation: Remove vegetation, prep, and level ground for Hydro-Seeding. o Perform Hydro-Seeding with Dura-Turf Seed Blend from Agrono-Tech Seed Company. Tree Planting: The installer will provide and plant 36 new Sensation Maple Trees o including the installation of protective rub guards around the trees. o The trees must be 15-gallon container size with a trunk diameter of 1.5 inches. o The trees must be warranted for one year, and any tree that fails during this period will be replaced at the contractor's expense. The County will either award a proposal or will announce that no appointment will be made. There is no implicit or explicit guarantee that the project will proceed. Uintah County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. This project encompasses the following tasks and responsibilities listed below.
