The Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) is seeking bids to furnish and install a gas fueled emergency stand-by generator at its downtown Intermodal Transportation Center (BAT Centre). The contract work resulting from this solicitation must be completed no later than June 20, 2025. BAT is seeking to install a new, natural gas fueled, emergency stand-by generator within the exterior gated area on the south side of the BAT Center where the A/C equipment is installed. Disconnect and remove manual GenTran switch and replace with ATS installed outside and feeding a 10 essential circuit panel in the existing electrical closet. Project Specifications Furnish and install (1) Winco PSS11 Natural Gas Stationary Standby Generator (or equivalent) which shall include the following: PSS11B2W-03/A, 11KW, B&S 389447-1215-E1, LP/NG, DSE3110, 3600RPM, 120/240V, UL2200, Gray Housing Battery 12V BCI Group 26, Minimum CCA 500 Emergency Stop, Remote Mount Kit Furnish and install an ASCO, 70 AMP 300 Series, Non-SE, NEMA 3R, D Frame Automatic Transfer Switch (or approved equal), which shall include the following: Voltage will be 120/240V, single phase. Setup will be 70A, 2-pole, with a solid neutral. Enclosure, NEMA 3R, D Frame 11BE Deluxe Engine Exerciser, Event Log, RS485 Enabled/Common Alarm Output Generator enclosure will be weatherproof and locked with a key. Generator panel including exerciser, event log, and alarms will be installed outside and feed a 10 essential circuit panel located within the existing electrical closet. Generator will be fueled by natural gas. The contractor is responsible for a new gas line connection to the existing meter and testing.
