The Waterbury Development Corporation (the "WDC"), acting on the City's and PAL's behalf, is seeking proposals (the "Proposal") from qualified third parties (individually a "Proposer" or "Contractor" and, collectively, "Proposers" or Contractors") for the construction of the Police Activity League ("PAL") Splash Pad (the "Project"), located at 32 Grant Street and 9 and 15 Branch Street. All questions and communications about this Request for Proposal and submission requirements must be directed to the City of Waterbury website and must be received by 2:00 p.m. on April 1, 2025 Prospective proposers must limit their contact regarding this RFP to Mr. McCaffery or such other person otherwise designated by Mr. McCaffery. Each Proposal shall be submitted as directed herein and any Proposal with a Total Price Proposal of over FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($50,000.00) shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security (a Certified Check or Bid Bond) in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Proposer's Total Price Proposal.A. The Proposer to whom a contract is offered, must furnish to the City, if that contract has a total cost greater than FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($50,000.00), a one hundred (100) percent Performance Bond and a one hundred (100) percent Payment Bond each with a surety company acceptable to the City and in a form acceptable to the City.
