2025 Pavement Markings Scope of Work Summary. The scope of work for this Project will generally consist of furnishing and installing Epoxy Resin Pavement Markings on various roads throughout the City of Waterbury. All materials and work done under this contract shall be in conformance with the City of Waterbury Standards, The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation 2020 Standard Specifications for Roads, Bridges, Facilities, and Incidental Construction Form 818 including all Supplemental Specifications dated July 2021. Clarification Deadline 3/28/2025 2:00 PM It is anticipated that the Successful Proposer shall reach Substantial Completion of the Work on or before October1, 2025 and shall reach Final Completion of all Work and Services required by this RFP on or before October 15, 2025. The Proposer to whom a contract is offered, must furnish to the City, if that contract has a total cost greater than Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond each with a surety company acceptable to the City and in a form acceptable to the City. The City reserves the right to award in part, to reject any and all Proposals in whole or in part for misrepresentation or if the Proposer is in default of any prior City contract, or if the Proposal impermissibly limits or modifies any of the terms and conditions and/or specifications of the RFP. The City also reserves the right to waive technical defects, irregularities and omissions if, in its judgment, the best interest of the City will be served.
