Pursuant to the Request for Proposal (RFP), the City of Waterbury, Department of Education (the City), is seeking proposals from third parties (each a proposer or contractor and, collectively, proposers or contractors, depending on context) for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive Building Automation System (BAS) across various school facilities. Clarification Deadline 4/4/2025 2:00 PM Responses to questions submitted by the above date or identified at any Information Session to be held in regard to this RFP, along with any changes or amendments to this RFP, will be available via the City of Waterbury electronic by April 8, 2025, 2:00 PM. The agreement period for any contract or purchase order resulting from this RFP is anticipated to be three (3) years from fully executed agreement Each Proposal with a total cost greater than $50,000.00 submitted shall be accompanied by a proposal security (a certified check or bid bond) in the amount of ten (10) percent of the total proposal price. P. Performance/Payment Bonds The proposer to whose contract has a total cost greater than $50,000.00, must furnish a one hundred (100) percent performance bond with a surety, and in a form, acceptable to the City. In the Citys sole discretion, it may also require a one hundred (100) percent payment bond and/or other additional security with a surety, and in a form, acceptable to the City. The City reserves the right to award in part, to reject any and all proposals in whole or in part for misrepresentation or if the proposer is in default of any prior City contract, or if the proposal limits or modifies any of the terms and conditions and/or specifications of the RFP.
