Renovation of a mixed-use development in West Lafayette, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
A general description of the work for which proposals are to be received consists of: The project is an interior renovation to the existing auditorium at William Henry Harrison High School, and interior renovations to select adjacent spaces. Including in the renovation will be new finishes, including flooring and wall treatments in the existing auditorium space and adjacent spaces. The project also includes modifications within the existing auditorium for ADA compliance, including addition of a new stage lift. Existing auditorium fixed seating will be removed and reinstalled to accommodate the new work. Each bid shall b accompanied by an executed non-collusion affidavit, an executed bid bond in the minimum amount of five percent (5%) of the bid and such other documents required by the Instructions to Bidders. Bid bond may be a certified or cashier's check payable to the Board of School Trustees of the Tippecanoe School Corporation, Lafayette, Indiana, or an acceptable bidder's bond. Should a successful bidder withdraw their bid, or fail to execute a satisfactory Contract, the Owner may then declare the bid deposit forfeited as liquidated damages.
