As of October 2025, the project is dependent on funding. A bond election process will take place for funding. Construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2026. The owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractors. Altamont School District 10 is seeking Statements of Qualifications and performance data from qualified Architectural firms to provide Architectural services for the following projects: Altamont Community High School Parking Lot Improvements and Additional Classroom Space at Altamont Grade School. Question Deadline 03/28/2025 Expected Scope of Work The firm selected by the District may be expected to provide comprehensive architectural services. Such services may include: o Facility planning; o Drainage improvements to ACHS parking lot; o Additional Classroom Space at Altamont Grade School; o Health & Life Safety surveys, planning, monitoring, and compliance filings with the Illinois State Board of Education; o Forecasting of probable costs for maintenance and construction projects; o Development of complete and thorough construction design documents for projects; o Oversight of all procedural, permit and zoning requirements from local, county, and State agencies; o Management of all aspects of competitive bidding for projects; o Attendance at Board of Education meetings or other meetings as requested. Qualifications Qualifications submitted for review should include but not be limited to: o A brief history of firm to include a list of select school design projects; o A description of the type of firm (i.e. corporation, partnership, sole proprietor, etc.); o Confirmation regarding licensure of relevant employees to provide architectural services in the state of Illinois; o Detail of the number of employees at the firm, and a description of responsibilities; o The resume and name of the project supervisor assigned to the District; o The resumes and names of personnel to be assigned to the District; o An organizational chart identifying key members of the firm that will be assigned to the District; o A description of services performed "in-house" (i.e. architect or engineer) versus subcontracted; o A copy of the firm's financial statements for the last three years; o Provide proof and the values of professional liability and general liability insurance carried
