Sealed bids are invited for contract mowing for the City of Altamont for the year 2026. Areas to be mowed are divided into six groups: Group 1 – Union Cemetery; Group 2 – Gilbert Park; Group 3 – Heritage Park, Schmidt Park, South sub station near Schmidt Park; Group 4 – Triangle, Municipal Building, Frog Pond Park, one small parking area, East Meadows entrance & lift station; Group 5 – North and South Sewer Lagoons and south lift station. Ariel views of these locations are available for viewing at the office of the City Clerk. Some groups require the bidder to have an Illinois Commercial Applicator Spray License. Bidders may submit a proposal for one or all groups. Bids must be submitted in an envelope endorsed '2026 Mowing Proposal.' The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities.
