Failure to certify a commitment to meet the SBE Goal or failure to satisfactorily demonstrate Good Faith Efforts used to attain SBE participation for this project shall be grounds for the Commission to consider the Bid nonresponsive and may cause the Bid to be rejected. Pollution Liability Insurance is required under GC Art. 12.1.3 for this Project. Bids will be received for this Project, which includes the following: Removal by milling of one and one-half (1 1/2) inches of existing asphalt pavement in the right and center lanes of the mainline, removal of existing raised pavement markers, resurfacing of the pavement to the thickness specified in the Drawings, installation of raised pavement markers and permanent pavement striping and/or other pavement markings, and temporary traffic control, in both Eastbound and Westbound lanes.
