Sheehan School - Replace Electrical Services & Panels. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Questions concerning this invitation for proposals must be submitted in writing to: Procurement Department, Westwood Town Hall, 580 High Street, Westwood MA 02090 or by email at Procurement@townhall.westwood.ma.us. Questions may be delivered or mailed. Written responses will be posted on the Westwood Town Hall website. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. The Contractor will provide a new 120/208v 800amp 3phase 4wire underground electrical service to replace the existing 120/208volt 3phase 4wire 600amp underground electrical service. 2. The existing electrical service and equipment will remain while the new service and equipment are installed. 3. The new electrical service will be routed from an existing utility pole located adjacent to the parking lot to a new 800amp main breaker distribution panel located in basement storage room. 4. All existing electrical panelboards manufactured by Federal Pacific that are located in the boiler room will be replaced and replaced panelboards moved to the Storage Room as salvage. 5. Federal Pacific electrical panels located in other parts of the building will be replaced in kind. 6. A new drain pan located over new electrical panels and directly under existing piping with leak detection and alarms. 7. A new temperature controlled in-line exhaust fan and associated duct work, duct accessories, and controls to serve new Electrical Room and adjacent Work Room. 8. The Contractor will be responsible for relocation of existing overhead mechanical/plumbing piping routed through the storage room to maintain electrical equipment clearances. The community shall make positive efforts to achieve a goal of 7.18 percent participation of Minority-owned Business Enterprise(s) and 5.77 percent participation of Woman-owned Business Enterprise(s) within Professional Services contracts which are funded through financial assistance under this Agreement. For Non-Professional Services category work, the community should make positive efforts to achieve a goal of 5.61 percent participation of Minorityowned Business Enterprise(s) and a goal of 4.88 percent participation of Woman-owned Business Enterprise(s) within project contracts.
