The Washington County Public Works Department is issuing this request for proposals (RFP) to provide final design engineering services for the County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 5 (Olive Street), from Pine Tree Trail to Owens Street Improvement Project. The objective of this project is to improve the safety, mobility, and bike ability/walkability of the CSAH 5. In summary, the project goals are as follows: o Improve the safety, capacity, and operation for all users in this area. o Produce municipally approved construction documents that meet all State Aid, Washington County, and local requirements for final design and environmental documentation. o Meet a schedule that assures project advertisement by January 2026. o Maintain the long-term transportation goals of Washington County and the City of Stillwater. o Achieve a construction schedule that minimizes public inconvenience, while being sensitive to reducing overall project costs and environmental impacts. In the event that the submitted proposals are unacceptable, the County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. Late submittals will not be considered.
