The project is located at the Juneau International Airport off the end of runway 8 adjacent to the emergency vehicle access road (EVAR)/ Airport Dike Trail along the Mendenhall River in Juneau, AK. The Mendenhall River experienced a flood event on August 5, 2023, that resulted in streambank erosion along a section of approximately 110 feet of the EVAR. This project will stabilize the eroded section of streambank by constructing a riprap revetment to prevent any further erosion and loss of the EVAR. Substantial Completion 30 Days after Notice to Proceed Final Completion 60 Days after Notice to Proceed Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond, in the amount of 5% percent of the Bid, payable to the City and Borough of Juneau, Alaska, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement.
