Blue Ash 2025 Sports Center Storm Pipe Repair Each bidder is required to furnish with his proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. It is the intent and requirements of the Owner that this project shall be completed no later than Friday, October 31, 2025. The Council of the City of Blue Ash shall authorize acceptance of the bid made by the responsible bidder who, in Council's judgment, offers the best and most responsive proposal to the City, considering quality, service, performance record, and price; or Council may direct the rejection of all bids. The City may award based on "functional equivalence" concerning specified work or products. The Council of the City of Blue Ash, Ohio, reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. Repair of a Triple Barrel 24" CMP storm pipe at the City of Blue Ash Sports Center, 11540 Grooms Road The purpose of the project is to remove and replace a section of the 24" Triple Barrel CMP that crosses under an access drive. Approximately 50' of pipe x 3 pipes have deteriorated and began undermining the drive, these will be removed prior to CIPP of the remaining 800' of each pipe. The contractor, at the inlet for the storm pipes, will remove and replace the headwall, clean out the channel and place rock channel protection with filter. All Asphalt Pavement and curb shall be restored per City of Blue Ash Specification, as directed by the Engineer. It is the City's intent to remove the traffic island within the access drive, as part of this project. Once the 150' of deteriorated storm pipe is replaced, the contractor shall install a structural liner from inlet to outlet of the 3 EA - 24" storm pipes with a cured in place pipe liner (CIPP), approximately 2,400 FT in total. All pipes shall be flushed, cleaned, with video inspection prior to any work and after the installation of the CIPP. The contractor shall provide the City copies of the video inspections. Included in this project is the cost for cutter services, the contractor shall locate all inlets within the storm pipes prior to structural liner application and use the cutter services to reinstate inlets after completion of lining. The contractor shall cut out any pieces of the CMP or tie-ins impeding the flow of water or protruding into the pipe. No protrusion shall exceed 2" from the finish face of the liner.
