Site work and paving for a road / highway in Town of Rockingham, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
8 High X 8 Wide X 63 Long Precast Concrete Box project includes the removal of the existing pavement, excavation to subgrade, installation of the new box, new gravel base and 5" of pavement. BIDDER hereby proposes to perform all work in accordance with the attached Scope of Work and General Construction Notes and Requirements at the prices stated below. QUESTIONS: During the advertisement phase of this project all questions shall be submitted in writing by 4:00pm on 3/26/2025 and addressed to: Everett Hammond, Engineer (802) 376-0042 hammondeng@gmail.com or Glen Schreider, Rockingham Highway Superintendent (802) 289-2881 highway@rockbf.org The Chosen Contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Upon receipt of these two bonds, the Town will issue a Purchase Order to the Chosen Contractor. A Bid Bond is required with the bid submittal. BIDDER hereby agrees to complete the work under the contract between June 1, 2025 and October 1, 2025. In the event the work is not completed by October 1, 2025, BIDDER agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of five hundred ($500.00) dollars for each consecutive calendar day until work is complete. The Town reserves the right: (1) to accept or reject any or all Bids in whole or in part and to accept other than the lowest price proposal;
