The contract is to provide services for furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, materials and supplies (except plastic bags and sanitary supplies; toilet tissue, paper towels, sanitary napkins, hand soap and deodorizers) necessary to perform the cleaning services in the Municipal Building, 23 Lackawanna Plaza (BPA), Police Building (including Central Communications), 230 Grove St (DPW 2 Trailers), 4 Township Field House (Vassar, Pulaski,Lion Gate, Wrights) as more fully outlined within this specification. These services will be provided for one (1) calendar year (365 calendar days) from the date of execution of the contract. Bids must be made on proposal forms and must be enclosed in sealed, special addressed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and work bid upon, on the outside, and must be accompanied by a duly executed Consent of Surety, Statement of Financial Responsibility, Non-Collusion Affidavit and Certified Check or Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 as a guarantee of good faith and must be delivered at the above place at the time designated. Bids not enclosed in special addressed envelopes will be considered informal and will not be opened. The Township Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any or all items in the proposal; to increase or decrease or eliminate such items as may be necessary for the adoption of any alternate; to accept that one which, in its judgment, best serves its interest; to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder
