The project is awarded to Messercola Excavation Co., Inc with an awarded amount of $128,061.00 RVE Project No. 0702-T-031 The work on this project consists of the installation of approximately 406 linear feet of 24 HDPE Pipe on Prospect Street from Thornton Street to Willow Street in the Township of Bloomfield, Essex County, New Jersey. Work shall include installation of 2 new storm inlets and 2 new manholes as shown on the plans. Restoration work including replacement of Belgian Block curb and sidewalk, milling and paving, tree removals, line striping, topsoiling, fertilizing and seeding as shown on the plans. Non-Collusion Affidavit and Certified Check or Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 as a guarantee of good faith and must be delivered at the above place at the time designated Work to be completed in 60 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Township of Bloomfield reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. If Bidders fail to fully understand any clause or requirement of the Contract Documents, inquiry must be made of the Engineer for an interpretation in advance of the submission of the bid. Also, Bidders shall promptly notify the Engineer of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or error which they may discover upon examination of the Contract Documents or of the site and local conditions. Such inquiries or notices shall be in writing and shall be received by the Engineer at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids, weekends and holidays excepted.
