Site work and renovation of a transportation facility in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

**As of November 04, 2025, the project was awarded to Federal Highway Administration, with an awarded amount of $252,228.52** The work includes the installation of wayfinding signage and ADA curb ramps along wayfinding routes in the vicinity of the Lackawanna Train Station. Work is to be completed in 90 calendar days. Bids must be made on proposal forms and enclosed in sealed, specially addressed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the work bid upon. Each bid must be accompanied by a duly executed Consent of Surety, Statement of Financial Responsibility, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and a Certified Check or Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid (not to exceed $20,000.00) as a guarantee of good faith. Bidders must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (Public Works Contractor Registration Act) and the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue (Business Registration Act) at the time bids will be received. Bidders shall comply with P.L. 1975, Chapter 127; P.L. 1982, Chapter 107; N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq.; N.J.A.C. 17:27; P.L. 1963, c. 150 (Prevailing Wage); and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Executive Order #34 (1976) regarding debarred vendors must be observed. There is a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 3%. Failure to submit required forms (CR-266, CR-273, applicable CR-272, and CR-274) at time of bid or within 5 days after bid opening will render the bid non-responsive. The successful bidder shall perform the work in accordance with the contract documents and requirements of the Federal Highway Administration and the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Award of the contract is subject to approval of the New Jersey Department of Transportation and the Township Council reserves the right to reject all bids or items, increase, decrease, or eliminate items as necessary, and accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder. Question Deadline 10/11/2025 Such inquiries or notices shall be in writing and shall be received by the Engineer at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids, weekends and holidays excepted.
