A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Disclaimer: If you are interested in bidding on this project, you MUST purchase bid documents from Parette Somjen Architects by calling 973-586-2400 The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of steam-based unit ventilators with new UVs equipped with air conditioning through a roof top mounted chiller system; installation of a new packaged RTU and related duct work for the Gym; and upgrades to the existing electrical services. The Contract Documents define the full project scope. Bids must be sealed, clearly marked, and submitted by the specified time. Bidders must use the provided bid forms and obtain documents through the process specified. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in HVACR, and either be prequalified for or include documentation for prequalified subcontractors in Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron and Electrical work. Bidders and required subcontractors must submit a Certificate of Prequalification/Classification and an Affidavit as to Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts. Bids proposing modifications to the requirements will be rejected as non-responsive. Bidders must comply with all specified legal requirements and supply all necessary certifications and affidavits upon bid submission and prior to award. Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified/cashier's check and a Certificate of Consent of Surety is required. The successful bidder must furnish additional bonds. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive minor informalities, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.
