Sanitary Sewer Lateral and Lead Service Line Replacement Various locations within the City of Milwaukee. The SBE requirement for this project is null% of the contract base bid. All work shall be completed by October 31, 2025 The primary purpose of this project is to rehabilitate private sanitary sewer laterals that are known to be contributing sanitary wastewater to the City's storm sewer system. The selected properties are located at scattered locations throughout the City of Milwaukee. Additionally, some homes have lead water services which will be replaced with new copper water services. The properties included in this project were identified through the City's Storm Sewer Outfall testing program and failed a dye test administered by the Department of Neighborhood Services (DNS). Participation by the residents is voluntary and residents may opt out at any time. Residents who choose to participate are required to sign a Right of Entry consent form. Copies of all Right of Entry consent forms are available for viewing upon request. Once construction begins, the City has the option of obtaining consent from additional property owners that have not consented prior to the awarding of this contract. However, all additional consenting property owners are required to sign a Right of Entry consent form. The Contractor shall not solicit additional participation from the residents.
