Pierce Conservation District will issue an Invitation for Bids for marine construction of the Henderson Bay Shoreline Restoration Project #2025-0314 in March 2025. This restoration project in Pierce County, WA involves deconstruction and disposal of 715 linear feet of shoreline bulkhead and concrete boat ramp to restore natural shoreline on a residential property. Work includes but is not limited to preparation of the site: mobilization; removal of select trees, shoreline bulkheads, and concrete boat ramp, disposal of debris; construction of two new sections of rockeries at property boundaries; and placement of beach nourishment sediment. The construction contractor will access the project by water (barge); access by land is not feasible. QUESTIONS: Submit questions regarding this Invitation for Bids in writing to maryk@piercecd.org no later than April 1.7, 2025, at l l:00am. COST ESTIMATE: $256,700 - $313,800 [pre tax] *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
