Introduction This Scope of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for the annual inspection, maintenance, testing, and certification of all fire protection systems across the facilities. The contractor is responsible for ensuring the fire protection systems are compliant with all relevant local fire codes, safety standards, and regulations. 2. Objectives Ensure the fire protection systems remain operational, compliant, and efficient throughout the year. Conduct regular maintenance and testing to identify potential issues and ensure readiness in case of a fire emergency. Provide documentation and certification as required by local authorities and insurance companies. 3. Fire Protection Systems to be Covered The contractor shall provide services for the following fire protection systems: Fire Alarms: Including panels, detectors, and notification devices. Sprinkler Systems: Including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems, if applicable. Extinguishers: Including servicing, recharging, and replacement of fire extinguishers. Emergency Exit Lighting: Including testing and maintenance. Fire Suppression Systems: Including kitchen hood suppression systems (if applicable). 4. Services to be Provided The contractor shall perform the following services on an annual basis (or as specified by local codes): Inspection: Visual and operational inspections of all fire protection equipment. • Check for damage, wear, and obstructions. Verify that fire protection equipment is accessible and clearly marked. Testing: Perform operational testing on fire alarms, sprinklers, fire pumps, extinguishers, and suppression systems. Verify system performance to ensure compliance with standards. Maintenance: Conduct maintenance activities to repair or replace any faulty or outdated components. Perform adjustments or calibrations where necessary. Certification: Provide detailed inspection and maintenance reports. Provide certification of compliance for fire protection systems. Ensure systems are fully certified and meet all legal requirements. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all inspections, maintenance, testing, and repairs conducted.
