* Tender has been cancelled. Re-tender anticipates in the new year. The Town of Carberry is seeking qualified contractors to remove the existing concrete steps and install new wooden steps at the Carberry Library entrance. The new installation must comply with all applicable Manitoba Accessibility Standards and building codes. The successful bidder will be responsible for: - Safe demolition and removal of existing concrete steps and railings. - Disposal of all demolition materials in accordance with local regulations. - Design and construction of new wooden steps using durable, treated materials. - Ensuring the new steps are compliant with the Manitoba Building Code and The Accessibility for Manitobans Act (AMA), including: Proper rise/run ratios Handrails and guards Slip-resistant surfaces Adequate width and landing space Restoration of surrounding landscaping as needed following construction. Any inquiries regarding this RFT must be submitted in writing to Callie Sudak at mpfs@townofcarberry.ca no later than August 15th . Responses will be provided in the form of an addendum if necessary. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
