Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Carberry, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Town of Carberry is seeking qualified contractors to submit tenders for the removal and replacement of the current standing seam roof on the Administration Office located at 44 Main Street in Carberry. The successful contractor will be responsible for: Removal of the existing standing seam roof material and flashing (can be recycled at the Carberry Transfer Station) Removal of any water damaged decking that requires replacement Disposal of removed decking materials Removal of fascia and eave troughs Replacement of decking materials that are removed Extend the upper roof by ten feet to ensure any ice damming does not leak into the building joint and protects the rooftop HVAC unit Install appropriate weather protection, including any ice damming prevention Replace the roofing material with a new standing seam metal roof Replace flashing, fascia, and eave troughs Ensure complete weather proofing of all openings Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com
